Organizations & Associations

On Campus

Graduate and professional students at Pitt are strongly encouraged to become involved with organizations and interest groups relevant to individual interests and career paths. Affiliation with these organizations, and taking advantage of the professional development and educational opportunities they provide, is essential to academic and professional growth.

National

There are many national health and health-related organizations and associations committed to ensuring that health education and services are sensitive to the needs of diverse populations. These organizations assist in contributing to the welfare of pre-health professions students, graduate and professional students, interns, residents and post-MD/DO trainees, and improving the lives and education experience of health professions students.
