Pittsburgh, PA 15213

All sessions except the luncheon will be held in the Assembly Room. The luncheon will be in the Ballroom.

Join us for a commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Jonas Salk's birth, showcasing his commitment to a sustainable human future. The program will be a look forward, addressing sustainability from a number of different perspectives with a focus on the environment, global health, and the human dimension of what will be required to bring about constructive change.

Hosted by the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public Health and Office of the Provost, and the Jonas Salk Legacy Foundation, this event brings together academic and business leaders for a day-long program. Looking at the relationship between sustainability and public health, session topics will include population health, the nexus between sustainability and a green economy, and sustainable businesses in sustainable communities.
