The Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), with support from FISA Foundation and the Heinz Endowments, invite you to join us for "A Call to Men: A Call to Action", Thursday, September 11, 2014, 9:00 am - 4 pm at Rodef Shalom, 4905 5th Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213. Join Tony Porter, internationally known author, activist and lecturer in conversation about healthy, respectful masculinity and men’s role in ending violence against women and girls. His agency “A CALL TO MEN” challenges communities to think differently about the ways we raise boys, including how rigid messages of manhood create pain and isolation and ultimately promote violence. This workshop will focus on how we can do better in supporting healthy individuals and vibrant communities and will highlight local men who are engaged in this work. Lunch will be provided and there is free parking. There is no cost for the event but registration is required by September 4, 2014 by clicking on the link below: A flyer is attached for your review: ACallToMenFlyerSept11_2014
